I was talking to an English woman this weekend who happen to see two plays ever in her life (which were in England, naturally.)
I’ve only been to England once, in 2004, abs I saw two plays then, and they were the exact same two plays.
Believe it or not, they were Footloose, the Musical, and Jerry Springer the Opera.
Yes, I saw Footloose, it was the only thing playing in Oxford at the time.
And Jerry Springer the Opera was a day-of purchase in London’s West End. The guy who played Jerry Springer was the only person who didn’t sing. It was hysterical.
At least you spelled Theatre correctly 🙂
