One of my wonderful blog readers (the reader is wonderful, that is) commented on the my “balls to the
wall” post from yesterday:
Used by pilots. when accelerating quickly, the throttle is pushed all the way to the panel and the throttle lever (ball) actually touches the panel (wall). Hence, balls to the wall.

🙂 In Spanish, there are a lot of expressions that I don’t get or I can’t stand. But when that happens in another language, and the context of what I’m reading depends on that expression, I need to know what it means!
