Ok I’ll at it: Someone saying “God bless you” after you sneeze does not really bless you. There’s no “Blessed from sneezing”-counter at the Pearly Gates. I know it’s considered “good manners” to acknowledge someone may be getting sick, and it’s a wish that they stay healthy.
But in this case, I call bullshit on good manners. It does nothing.
So let’s stop whining if nobody says it when we sneeze. We’ll get by just fine.
